Queen Anne represents some of the very best the Emerald City has to offer. Although the steep hill made it one of the last areas to be developed, residents today take full advantage of the altitude with views that are genuinely hard to beat from anywhere in the city. Classic homes, a central location, and a vibrant community make Queen Anne one of Seattle's most coveted addresses.
Most people think of Queen Anne in two distinct personalities: Lower Queen Anne is the urban center, where residents can walk to climate-friendly arenas, museums, and major performing arts venues; Upper Queen Anne is the storied residential hilltop with classic homes and neighborhood retail. Both are wonderful in different ways, and together they give the area unusual breadth.

It's easy to spend an entire day exploring Queen Anne without running out of things to do.
