The Woodland Park Zoo is a wildlife conservation organization and zoological garden and offers plenty of educational opportunities and activities. Golden Gardens Park contains two wetlands, a short loop trail, and beaches. Go fishing at the pier, launch your boat for a day of sailing, or bring your furry friends for a run at the off-leash dog area. Celebrate summer with the annual Fremont Solstice Parade. The neighborhood’s favorite event showcases more than 60 floats and ensembles and offers the most colorful party of the season.
