Bellevue

A city that grew up remarkably well — clean, ambitious, and genuinely livable. The Eastside's undisputed center, now with light rail to Seattle.

Fittingly, "Bellevue" is French for "beautiful view" — a nod to the spectacular Olympic and Cascade mountain panoramas visible from the city's hilltops and towers. Just east of Seattle across Lake Washington, Bellevue has grown into a thriving urban center in its own right. People often call it a city in a park, and with an extensive park system and a very polished downtown core, it's easy to see why.

Having grown up in neighboring Bridle Trails, I watched Bellevue transform over the years into what it is today — and it has done so remarkably well. It retains a genuine sense of livability while offering urban amenities that rival any major city in the region.

Life in Bellevue is defined by professionals who value quality, comfort, and exceptional convenience. The city has established itself as a major tech hub and a true second downtown for the region, with major employers, luxury retail, and polished residential towers all sharing the same urban core. The result is a city that feels clean, opportunity-rich, and genuinely easy to navigate.
